🗣 As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting healthy homes and preventing lead exposure, the Lead Poisoning Prevention Program is excited to introduce mini, free food pantries in four District 2 counties: Franklin, Lumpkin, Stephens, and Hart! 🍝These counties were selected based on data highlighting areas of greatest nutritional need, particularly among families with young children. 👥👶Each pantry has non-perishable foods that help families stretch their budgets while supporting children’s health. Items rich in calcium, iron, and vitamin C are included because these nutrients can help reduce lead absorption in children. This food is available to anyone who needs it. 💪📍To see food pantry locations, visit: phdistrict2.org/in-the-news/community-events/healthy-homes-start-here-lead-prevention-program-lau... #foodpantry #HealthyHomes #LeadPoisoningPrevention #district2publichealth ...
