The Franklin County Health Department is undergoing renovations. The health department will be closed August 14 – 18. We will reopen at our temporary location on August 21. The new location is in the historical wing of the Board of Education building located at 280 Busha Rd, Carnesville, GA. Additional details provided below.

Services will remain available at temporary locations
We will make sure that all the important health services keep going without closing. While our main building is getting fixed, we have set up other places where people can still get important health services.
Dental services will move to Hart County Health Department (64 Reynolds St. Hartwell, GA 30643). Call 706-376-5117 to schedule an appointment.
WIC will offer virtual services beginning August 1. Participants will be served in person, as needed, at Banks County Health Department (667 Thompson St, Homer, GA 30547) or Hart County Health Department (64 Reynolds St. Hartwell, GA 30643).
Environmental Health services will move to the Franklin County Board of Education Historical Society Wing located at 280 Busha Rd, Carnesville, GA. See hours of operation below.
